These 5 entrepreneurs want to eliminate global food waste

Most people know that world hunger is a pulping edition — but what you may not know is that food waste is evenly concerning.

This doesn’t seem to make sense: How is it that so many go hungry if there’s so much usable nutrient heading toward landfills? If you think the question of food waste is counterintuitive, you’re not alone. The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals outline a series of objectives to tackle global problems including hunger and food waste , among others.

There are a number of inventors who recognize that food waste is an inappropriate trouble in our modern world — and they’re doing their proportion to introduce the UN’s SDGs like zero hunger, sustainable agriculture practices, and sustainable consumption and production to fruition.
